Thank you for your interest in this class! I talk to people all the time who want to start painting in oils, but are too intimidated or overwhelmed to start. This lesson is designed as a perfect introduction to oil painting. Here you will learn what supplies you need, how to mix paint, how to paint with both thin and thick layers, how to transfer a drawing to canvas, and even how to clean up when you are done! We will be painting in layers, so expect 4 to 5 thirty minute to an hour painting sessions over the course of 4 to 5 days. It can also be done in acrylics if you choose. You could potentially finish this painting in a day if you use acrylics.
You will see the entire painting done in real time. You will see every stroke of the brush with no painting cut out or sped up. When you complete this lesson you will have a beautiful painting to hang on your wall!
