Microsoft Excel in 60 Minutes: Using Real Company Data, Analyze the financial performance of a struggling hotel business.
Use Excel to organize an actual business’s accounting and customer data. Then apply key practices in data analytics to draw insights from the data.
This course is very straightforward and targets people that want to be proficient at Excel as quickly as possible. Keep in mind that the course itself is only an hour, so we move very fast.
In the first lecture, you will immediately be playing around with the company data.
In the second lecture, you will already be learning how to the SUMIFS.
Although we target beginners, there will be some knowledge gaps if you are 100% new to Excel. For example, we won’t be teaching you how to insert rows, or change the sizes of the text. In any case, you will be able to follow along with the video just fine, but we expect our students to be resourceful (i.e. Google) to fill in any gaps.
Excel tools you will learn: Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, AVERAGEIFS, filtering, conditional formatting, copying formulas, using dollar signs, and more!
